As an Artist I draw upon the beautiful places where my family came from long ago,
connecting an old world to a new one through my senses of sight, small and taste.

AN ITALIAN KITCHEN
A journey of love and heritage through food
Pasta found me about 10 years ago and since then I have been making pasta and cooking Italian cuisine ever since, learning from my home kitchen and kitchens in Italy while eating my way from the north of Italy to the south discovering some of the secrets of making pasta by some wonderful Italians.
It's a joy to serve people food with love, bringing the finest ingredients and growers together, giving thanks to the seasons and discovering old recipes, traditions and celebrating life the true Italian way.

Bridget Ellery Catering provided us with a fantastic night of in home fresh Italian cuisine.
The fresh pasta experience was somethig unique and Bridgets style came through in the delicate pieces.
Our guests enjoyed watching her make the pasta and then having it served throughout the night.
I highly recommend hiring Bridget for a function as the restaurant style food in a
relaxed home atmosphere was the perfect setting for our function.
Oh and the Tiramisu was exquisite!

MY STORY
My heritage is a displaced one with grandparents escaping war to leave everything behind, holding only their future and a few precious belongings.
As a young woman visiting their homelands, Budapest, Prague and Vienna,
I instantly felt at home within its streets, food, art and it's soft hues.
The paprika my grandmother sprinkled in our meals I learned came
from an Austro-Hungarian empire of cuisine, the curing salamis
hanging in her kitchen, her collection of raw ingredients and
harvesting of seasonal food taught me of a simple life long ago.
The gilded art of a sensual feminine form came from a Vienna breaking
free into a golden age of visionaries and Prague a broken part of my heritage from family tragedy spoke to me of a different type of artistic expression, one that opened my eyes to the beauty of eastern Europe, connecting me to my families past, creating a source of discovery
and inspiration in everything a do.
